We are engaged in the battle ahead

When the last explosion breaks the ground, the air will thunder with terror one last time, but the war will not be over. A new phase of the fight will have begun. Despite the resolute spirit of many Ukrainians, which has been relentlessly tested these last few years, many have been marked by trauma. Those who've endured this hardship will reflect on their past to see a chapter dividing life before and after suffering war. It is evident now, more than ever, that God's perspective is desperately needed to keep one's identity intact, not becoming a victim, refusing to admit oneself to be another lump statistic... having no face, no story,...vacant of personality.

How good it is to be in the presence of the Lord

A story can be rewritten or retold in such a way that the plot so changes because its main character reaches a moment of realization. This is precisely what the Holy Spirit does. Jesus promised He would send us the Comforter (John 14:16) and he would teach us "all" things (John 14:26). He will call to our remembrance what Christ has said, and make the objective Logos touchable in our subjective life experiences (John 14:26).

first session opening
Katie Luse opening the first session

This October, our friends from Connect Up, Katie Luse and Jessica Sanders, made a difficult trip by plane and train to run a seminar in Ukraine. We eagerly invited our ministry partners and friends from around the country to join us for personal refreshment and ministry equipping. Of those who joined us, over 80% decided to continue through to the level 2 training, to be further mentored in the ministry of inner healing and take it to those back home!

We were moved by the feedback we received! People's comments described newfound freedom from issues that had been plaguing them for a very long time. Many caught a new breath of air as forgiveness was dealt and old wounds were finally tended to. Many remarked how accessible the teaching was to receive, full of revelation and anointing!

Opening up a Connect Up branch in Ukraine

We are now taking an exciting new step! Our ministry is partnering with Connect Up to host a branch here in our city of Ternopil, Ukraine! Our time together is proving to be the start of a larger work, one that is gravely needed.

hunger for the Lord

The hunger to learn among Christians exceeded our expectations. When some people later discovered they had missed the seminar, they became eager upon learning that Connect Up had translated their material into Ukrainian. This was no easy task! I was amazed by Katie Luse's passion for making their tools accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of the cost or labor required to undertake such a project.

Stories like this stir us. We are deeply grateful to such friends and partners who co-labor with us in the Gospel of Jesus. By walking together, we are extending the healing and strength of God to the body of his Son on earth. We thank everyone who is helping us do this for the body of Christ in Ukraine, especially in this moment of history. Your support and prayers have and continue to make all the difference. May God bless you.
